Telephone Answering
In October 2007 we went digital and we doubled the number of telephone lines into the surgery. This was in response to our patients’ comments that the surgery number was often engaged. Going digital means that we can monitor and report on our performance in answering your calls, click on the links to see the reports by month from April 2007.

Home visits
Patients are kindly asked to come to the surgery whenever possible. Medical problems are best dealt with in the practice, where staff, equipment and medication are at hand. Most sick children can be safely brought to the practice.

If illness prevents you from travelling or you are unable to attend, please phone the surgery BEFORE 10am. You will be able to leave a message for the doctor on duty, who will decide the best way to deal with your problem; you may either by given advice over the phone, asked to come to the surgery or visited. If the doctor considers a visit appropriate, s/he will usually visit between 12 noon and 2pm.
