Telephone Answering
In October 2007 we went digital and we doubled the number of telephone lines into the surgery. This was in response to our patients’ comments that the surgery number was often engaged. Going digital means that we can monitor and report on our performance in answering your calls, click on the links to see the reports by month from April 2007.

What to do when the surgery is closed:
Can you treat yourself at home? You can contact your pharmacist under the Pharmacy First scheme.

For health advice 24 hours a day, 365 days a year call NHS Direct 0845 4647. They can also be accessed online at www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk

For minor illness or injuries contact the Whitechapel Walk-in-Centre 020 7943 1333 – you don’t need an appointment. They are open from 7am to 10pm weekdays and 9am to 10pm weekends and bank holidays.
